Did you know that Pforzheim is known as the “Gold City” of Germany? ✨
The city has a long tradition in jewelry and watchmaking and is located right at the gateway to the Black Forest.

At the same time, Pforzheim also has an important historical background: during World War II, large parts of the city were destroyed in one of the heaviest air raids on Germany, which still shapes the cityscape and history today.

Join us for a relaxed day exploring Pforzheim together! We’ll discover hidden corners, hear fun local stories, and enjoy the atmosphere along the rivers Nagold and Enz. 📸🌿

🌴 Highlight: The Gasometer

One of the highlights of the trip will be the famous Gasometer Pforzheim — a huge former industrial gas tank that now hosts impressive 360° panorama exhibitions.

The current exhibition, “Amazonien – Faszination tropischer Regenwald”, lets visitors dive into the world of the Amazon rainforest with gigantic panoramic artwork, immersive sounds, and stunning details of tropical wildlife and nature. 🦜🎨

For the BBQ in the evening, everyone can buy their own food and snacks at a supermarket during the event — grills will be ready at the Hochschule! 🍔
