Dear internationals,

Join us for a beautiful hiking day to the Schlagstein, a beautiful mountain hike! Expect breathtaking panoramas, fresh mountain air, and one of the most scenic landscapes near Munich.

This event is part of the Social Impact Days, with the cause of Environmental sustainability. Learn how to take care of the mountains with our hiking team!

🤔 WHAT DOES THE EVENT LOOK LIKE?
We’ll meet at 7:45 am at Munich Hbf (platform 31) and travel together toward Füssen. Once there, we’ll take a bus to Hohenschwangau and then start a moderate hike starting with the Marienbrücke, one of the best spots to take some pictures of Neuschwanstein for your Instagram recap. Then we continue to the peak of the Schlagstein.
There will be time to take breaks, enjoy the scenery, and relax in nature together. If we still have time at the end we can also check out the Lechfall, which is a five step waterfall close to Füssen.
We’ll head back in the afternoon and arrive in Munich at around 8:00 pm.

🎒 WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
- Hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers
- At least 2L of Water and sufficient picnic / snacks for the day
- Comfortable sportswear (multi layer, so you can adapt to the different temperatures)
- A raincoat, just in case
- Your Deutschlandticket or Bayern Ticket
- ID or passport
- Bathing clothes if you want to jump into the lake (but keep in mind you‘ll have to carry them all day)
- Camera for the incredible views 📸
