Have you ever walked past the massive palace at Odeonsplatz and wondered what’s behind those stone walls? Now is your chance to find out! Join ESN MESA as we explore the Munich Residence, the former seat of government and residence of the Bavarian dukes, electors, and kings.
With over 130 rooms to explore, it is the largest city palace in Germany. We’ll wander through the legendary Antiquarium—a breathtaking Renaissance hall that is easily one of the most beautiful rooms in Europe—and see the opulent state apartments of the Wittelsbach dynasty.

This event is part of the Social Impact Days, with the cause of promoting culture through learning the history of Bavaria!

🤔 WHAT DOES THE EVENT LOOK LIKE?
We’ll meet at Odeonsplatz for a quick intro and a group photo with the famous palace lions. Then, we’ll head inside to explore the main museum. You can use the free audio guide to hear all the royal gossip and history at your own pace!
Bonus: If you’re a fan of sparkly things or theater, you can optionally add the Treasury (Crown Jewels) or the Cuvilliés Theatre to your ticket!
After the tour we'll chill at the Hofgarten with some drinks and snacks.
