Dear Internationals,
join us on our next hiking trip to the beautiful Jochberg 🏔️
First, please read the survival guide (https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1EIQzIorT7WTLmzyciHdKS25MZKXKVCAkME_9rMNUaM8)!
We’ll meet on Sunday morning at 8:40 to take the train at Munich central station (platform 28) to Kochel, followed by Bus 328 to Kesselberg Passhöhe. Here we'll start our hike to the Jochberg (1565 m), during the hike we’ll have beautiful views over the Kochel- and Walchensee and the surrounding area.

🤔 WHAT WILL THE EVENT LOOK LIKE?
- This hike will take approximately 5 hours and be approximately 9 km long with a vertical elevation gain of 750 meters
- There is a mountain shelter, however it is not guaranteed that it will be open, so remember to bring enough food and drinks for the day
- This hike is only moderately difficult, but you should still be comfortable with walking for several hours!
- We will be back in Munich at around 19.00 depending on which bus we manage to catch on the way home

🎒 WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
- Hiking boots (or shoes with equally good profile)
- If it's rainy: a waterproof jacket (remember that the weather can change very fast in the mountains)
- If it's sunny: sunscreen/a hat/sunglasses
- 2 litres of water and food/snacks for the day, it is not guaranteed that the mountain shelter will be open, so remember to bring food for the day!

We will be back in Munich around 7 pm.
