Join us for a wonderful summer day trip to Chiemsee, Bavaria’s largest lake, often called the “Bavarian Sea”! We'll explore the beautiful island of Herreninsel, enjoy scenic lakeside views, and visit the world-famous Herrenchiemsee Palace, King Ludwig II’s magnificent castle inspired by Versailles.

🤔 WHAT DOES THE EVENT LOOK LIKE?
We'll meet at 09:47 at Munich Hbfand travel together to Prien am Chiemsee. From there, we'll take the ferry to Herreninsel (€14.20 per person) and spend the day exploring the island's beautiful nature and historic landmarks.
A highlight of the trip will be our visit to Herrenchiemsee Palace, one of Bavaria’s most impressive royal residences. We'll walk through the palace grounds, admire the stunning architecture, and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the island. There will also be plenty of time to relax by the lake, take photos, have a picnic, and enjoy the summer scenery together.
In the afternoon, we'll take the ferry back to the mainland and return to Munich together.

- €14.20 for the ferry to Herreninsel
- ID or passport
