Join us on our next hiking trip to the Brauneck summit with panoramic 360-degree views over the Bavarian Alps!

🤔 WHAT DOES THE EVENT LOOK LIKE?
- We’ll meet on Saturday morning at 9:10 am to take the train (RB56) at Munich Central Station (platform 34) to Lenggries. From there, we'll start our hike up to the Brauneck (1555 m).
- This hike will take 5-6 hours and is 11.7 km long with a vertical elevation gain of 840 meters. You can view the hike here: https://www.komoot.com/tour/2966668053?ref=aso&share_token=aNt1NB3mfQ0boZFFq5Vc3wMwlLXFPgcA4uYb178Ehv1YNZW2m4&t_s=referral&t_cid=route_share
- This hike is moderately difficult, so please ensure that you are reasonably fit and comfortable walking on mountain trails for several hours!
- There is a mountain shelter, however it is not guaranteed that it will be open, so remember to bring enough food and drinks for the day.
- We will be back in Munich at around 19.00 depending on which train we manage to catch on the way home.

🎒 WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
- Hiking boots (or shoes with equally good profile)
- Wind protection and also warmer clothes as on the summit it can get very chilly!
- If it's rainy: a waterproof jacket (remember that the weather can change very fast in the mountains)
- If it's sunny: sunscreen/a hat/sunglasses
- 2 liters of water and food/snacks for the day, it is not guaranteed that the mountain shelter will be open, so remember to bring food for the day!
