Join us to go to the 177th edition of the Cannstatter Wasen! It's an annual festival held in Stuttgart since 1818 and is the second biggest "Oktoberfest" in Germany with about 3-4 million visitors each year 🍻.
We'll start by exploring the city of Stuttgart 🏙 before heading to one of the biggest festival tents at the Wasen at 17:00 with hundreds of other students and Erasmi from other ESN sections in Germany 🎉.
At the festival you can enjoy German beer, plenty of pork dishes and dancing on the benches until our departure from Stuttgart by regional train or ICE depending on what you choose for yourself at around 20:30. The price includes the entrance to the beer tent and comes with a buy one Maß get one free Voucher.
You can find more Information about the Cannstatter Wasen on their homepage:

IMPORTANT: As always, please drink responsibly at our events!
What? Stuttgart Cannstatter Volksfest
When? 12.10., 10:00
Where? Infront of Mainz Hauptbahnhof
How much? 6€ + optional ICE Tickets that you have to get yourself
Transportation:
To Stuttgart: We will all take public trains together and we will meet at 10
Back to Mainz:
Option 1 (Regional trains (free)):
The first option are regional trains where the last train from Stuttgart HBF to Mainz with two changes in Karlsruhe-Durlach and Mannheim HBF leaves at 20:30. You will need to leave Wasen abour 40 min before that to get to Stuttgart HBF.
Option 2 (High Speed train (15-27€ depending on age and Bahncards and if you book quickly):
The second option is to buy yourself an ICE ticket from Stuttgart HBF to Mannheim HBF from where you can then take Regional Trains to Mainz Hbf. The train leaves at 21:51 so you will only have to leave Wasen at around 21:00 which means you got an hour and a half more time in the beer tent. The organizers will take this train but as I already said you are responsible to buy your own ticket.
Train from Stuttgart HBF to Mannheim HBF: https://www.bahn.de/buchung/start?vbid=d40ed5f3-96a3-455d-bd9f-0175ad80c713
Both options are viable but we do recommend the high speed train!
Looking forward to going to Wasen with you! If you got any questions feel free to ask!
