Deister hiking trip
Take a hike with ESN in the local mountains just outside Hanover! We start in good weather conditions at Hanover main station and will take the S-Bahn to Wennigsen (30min). There we are for an approx. 15km hike with roughly 330 meters elevation gain, which we want to complete in about 6h. The highlight of our hike and also the highest point is a tower called Annaturm. Please remember the following things:
- Student ID (for the use of S-Bahn)
- warm clothes, suitable shoes (e.g. hiking boots, trail running shoes or similar)
- enough water + snacks for the way
- if necessary cash for food + drinks at the forest tavern close to Annaturm
- motivation and some fitness
ATTENTION: In case of very bad weather the event has to be cancelled spontaneously. (see ESN-Whatsappgroup the same morning).
