🌾🌲 Rauherberg Dune Hike – Sunday Nature Escape 🌦️🥾

Join us for a relaxing Sunday afternoon hike through the beautiful landscapes around the Rauherberg dunes! 🌿✨

This route takes us through peaceful forests, sandy paths, heathland scenery, and one of the most unique natural areas in the south of Hamburg. It's a great opportunity to enjoy nature, get some exercise, meet new people, and spend a few hours outdoors. ☀️🌲

The hike is of normal difficulty and covers approximately 9 km, with a walking time of around 2 hours and 30 minutes. We'll keep a comfortable pace and take short breaks along the way to enjoy the surroundings and take photos. 📸🌾

🌦️ Please note that rain is possible on Sunday. We will go ahead with the hike unless conditions become unpleasant. If the weather turns rainy during the hike, we'll take a shorter route back and finish the afternoon with a coffee ☕ or an ice cream 🍦 together.

12:30 Meet at Harburg Rathaus Station 🚉

12:45 Departure to Neugraben on the S-Bahn 🚆

~13:00 Arrival in Neugraben

🚶 Walk approximately 30 minutes to the start of the hiking route

13:30 Start of the hike 🥾

🌲 Forest trails, sandy dunes, and heathland scenery

☀️ Relaxed pace with short breaks

🕓 Expected return to Neugraben around 4:00 PM

🚆 From Neugraben, everyone can head home individually.

🌦️ The hike will take place even if there is light rain. Only severe weather would lead to changes in the plan.

🌧️ If it rains, we'll take a shortcut back and enjoy a warm drink or an ice cream together before heading home.
