Dear international students!

Get ready for a cozy December adventure! On 7 December 2025, we’re heading to Naumburg (Saale) to experience the magical Saale-Glühmeile — a festive winter walk along the river, filled with warm drinks, seasonal treats, sparkling lights, and that unmistakable Christmas atmosphere.

The route is around 4 km and leads through beautiful riverside paths, charming stops, and wintery viewpoints. Along the way, you’ll find small stands for warm beverages and food stalls, and cozy enviornment that create the feeling of a Christmas market stretched along the Saale. With students from ESN Halle and ESN Jena joining together, it’s a wonderful chance to meet new people, enjoy the season, and share a relaxed December day.

We’re meeting at 12:00 at Halle (Saale) Hbf so we can take the train together at 12:24. Once we arrive in Naumburg, we’ll begin our walk, take in the scenery, enjoy a warm drink if you like, and simply follow the festive atmosphere as it unfolds. No rush, no pressure — just a cozy winter afternoon with good company.
