Dear international students,
are you ready for a relaxing spring break? Join us on a wonderful hike in and around Bad Kösen, one of the most charming places along the River Saale. You can look forward to peaceful forest paths, vineyards and two impressive castles — Rudelsburg and Burg Saaleck — perched high above the valley.
What you should bring:
- Ticket (e.g. semester ticket or Deutschlandticket)
- Drinks (plenty of water) – stay hydrated!
- Food & snacks
- Weatherproof clothing (rain jacket, sun cream, etc.)
- Hiking boots or similar
Please be on time so we can all catch the train to Bad Kösen!

- RB 25 (74662) – towards Saalfeld(Saale)
- Departure: 9:23 a.m. from Halle (Saale) main station, platform 11
- Arrival: 10:09 a.m. in Bad Kösen, platform 2
