To all our nature lovers,
what about having a lovely summer hike to the highest mountain of Northern Germany?
Then join us on our hiking trip to the “Brocken” (1141m) and get excited about riding the very well known “Brockenbahn”!
We will take the train to Harz Mountains and then hike up from Torfhaus to Brocken together (walking time approx. 2,5 hours). After enjoying time on the peak’s platform we will start our return journey by taking the steam locomotive downhill. We are planning to be back in Halle around 8 pm.

When?
Sunday, 9th of July 2023, 7:30 am

Where?
In front of Halle Main train station (look for our ESN flag)

How much? Normally it would be 35€ for one person if you go without ESN, but for you it's:
- 10€ for ESNcard holder
- 13€ for people without an ESNcard

What do I need to bring?
Please remember to wear hiking boots (or similar, nothing less!) and weatherproof clothing (sun cream, hat, rain jacket etc.). Since we will be outside the whole day, bring enough to eat and drink (!) for the trip!

!! Please keep your “Deutschland-Ticket” ready for the train journey or buy yourself a ticket before the trip!!
