Get to know Freiburg from its most beautiful side - you can do that on the Schönberg hike (11km) followed by a wine tasting!

We meet at 12.00 o'clock in Freiburg. This is where our Schönberg hike begins, taking us via the Jesuit Castle and over the ruins of the Schneeburg to Freiburg-St. Georgen. We will then hike through the vineyards of the "Steinler" site of St. Georgen, which are the "gateway to the Markgräflerland wine region".

Andreas Vögele will accompany us on the tour and tell us many interesting things about wine growing. In the vineyards and in the "Winzerhaus Sankt Georg" we will learn about five different wines that grow on the Schönberg during a wine tasting.

After the wine tasting we will go back to the city by bus and streetcar.

Note: This is an 11km hike, so please bring appropriate footwear and clothing. There is no possibility to buy food or drinks during the hike, please pack both in appropriate quantities.

Participation fee incl. 5 wine tasting and hiking guide / excl. travel costs.
