ESN goes Triberger Schinkenfest

The 7th Black Forest costume parade is coming up. 600 traditional costume will be presented on a parade through Triberg town center. In addition trationinal music clubs called „Guggemusik“ play traditionam music.
The parade will be presented in the Triberg market square area. The highlight is the march-in of the traditional costume and music associations in the marquee and the overall choir of all musicians. There will be a fleamarket for everyone interested and we will have some time to explore the city.

We will also visit the Triberg Waterfalls and the Instagram Museum of Triberg

Cost: 7.5€, payed at the location

Travel information:
The entrance fee of 7,5€ (for students) covers the entrance to the Waterfalls as well as to the Instagram museum in Triberg.

The travel cost is not covered by the ticket.
If you have a Deutschlandticket, or a JugendticketBW (Student version of the Deutschlandticket) the travel is included in those tickets. The Semesterticket does not cover the trip. If you have no ticket or the Semesterticket we recommend to arrive early at the train station, so you can share group tickets with other people.

Also for people who have a Semesterticket, the Baden-Württemberg-ticket will be the cheapest option. (26,5€ for a single traveler, 17.25€pP for two ppl, 14,15€pP for 3 ppl, 12,6€pP for 4 ppl. And 11.7€pP for 5ppl, 5 is the max, so if you are 6, you can cobine two 3ppl tickets, etc.)
The ticket can be bought online or at the ticket maschines in the tram or at the train station.

Summary: Deutschlandticket, or JugendticketBW (Deutschlandticket Student-version): Free travel
Semesterticket, or no ticket at all: Meet at the trainstation to form groups and buy a Baden-Württemberg-ticket

Also don‘t forget your student ID, to get the reduced entrance fee at the Waterfalls.
Also bring some cash if you want to buy traditional food and drink on spot. Usually in german villages card payment is not possible :P
