Brighten up the dark winter months with a trip to the „capital of the European Union.“ We will visit christmas market, visit a restaurant where you can eat a delicious Flammkuchen and explore the city together. You‘ll also have some free time to explore on your own.
We will meet on Saturday, 9th of December at 8.45am at the main train station at platform 4. Please be on time since the train is not waiting for us. Attention: If you don‘t have the Semester ticket or Deutschland ticket, you must book a ticket from the "Complete transport" category

Around 10:30 AM we will arrive in Strasbourg. After our arrival, we will have a tour of the city, walking towards our lunch from the region of Alsace: ALL YOU CAN EAT FLAMMKUCHEN + 1L beer or soft drink! Afterwards you will have around 3-4h to visit Strasbourg and its city center and of course the beautiful Christmas market.
The whole trip will cost you only 22€ (29€ without ESNcard). The costs include the train ride (outside Semesterticket area) and the all you can eat lunch. Please don't forget to take enough food and drinks for the time after lunch and some cash since the Christmas stalls most likely can not accept card payments. Around 7.00pm we will head back to Freiburg and arrive there around 9pm.
