The Kaiserstuhl is a former volcanic mountain that is now known for its excellent wine-growing conditions. The hike will take us along the vineyard and up. In case of bad weather, we will shorten the walk. The route is ~10km long and has a 400m difference in altitude.
From the Freiburg Hauptbahnhof, we will take the S1 to Wasenweiler (17minutes) from where we will start the hike. Students of the University of Freiburg can use the free 7 p.m. ticket for the whole day on Sunday. You can get it on the VAG website and download it into the VAG app.

If you already have a Semesterticket, or the Baden-Württemberg-Ticket Young, or a Regiokarte, you can also join without paying for a ticket.
If you are not a student, you have to get your own ticket.
