ESN Frankfurt goes Wine-Hike with ESN Darmstadt

The 1st of May is a national holiday called Labor Day. As the name suggests, some people take to the streets to protest for better working conditions. Then there are the others — like us — ESN Frankfurt & ESN Darmstadt who hike toghether through the local vineyards with the regional crowd and “taste” some local German wines ;)

🍷 A relaxed 5–8 km nature walk
🧀 Stations with local food & drinks
🍏 Regional wine, cider & fruit juices
🎶 Live music stages along the trail
✨ Real local vibes + your favorite international crew

🥾 Wear comfy shoes & bring sunscreen

Entire route is 16km (we do only part of it)

Travel Plan:
* Take a regional train from Frankfurt Hbf to Zwingenberg (~40 min, Deutschlandticket/Student tickets are valid)
🥾 Hike along the official festival trail to Bensheim
🔁 Return from Bensheim train Station the same way
(The event is open-ended, so you can stop or continue along the route and return from any station at your convenience.)

Bonus: In Bensheim, there’s also a street food festival on Beauner Platz with international specialties and live music!
