Sign up for the first ESN Chess Championship in Braunschweig!

Over the course of the next 2-3 months we will find out who is the best chess player in the ESN Braunschweig community.
The exact competition format will depend on the number of participants and will be announced after the deadline for signing up (08.05.2021).

In case you have a chess board you can meet in the park for the games, since it is allowed to meet one other person and the weather is supposed to get better. The other option would be to play the games online via chess.com or similar websites.

The format of each game will be 10min fixed, without any time added per move (In case you agree on a different format with more or less time that´s totally fine as well). For every game you will have 4-7 days until it needs to be played and the result submitted to us.

The winner, as well as the second and third place, will win a prize, what exactly will be announced soon as well.

It doesn´t matter whether you are already an advanced player or just started to play recently, after the first round we try to put groups together of chess players with similar levels.
