EN
Neurodivergence is a relatively new concept that encompasses conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and others. In this workshop, we will focus on autism and ADHD. My aim is to provide some insights into life as an autistic person and/or ADHDer.

Everybody has very likely met several persons on the autism and/or ADHD spectrum in their life, but whether you were able to identify them as neurodivergent depends on a variety of factors. We will talk about how autistic persons and ADHDers perceive the world differently than neurotypical peers, and how this impacts and shapes interpersonal communication.

We will definitely dismiss a number of harmful preconceptions, and talk about strengths and resources associated with being neurodivergent. This interactive presentation will be held by Dr. Eydam of the TU Braunschweig.
