Until today the Holocaust defines the German commemorative culture. Therefore, a dignified remembrance at the places of crimes is essential. The great thinker`s Adorno first request to education was: "Auschwitz must never happen again". To support this important demand, we offer a historical excursion to one place of the unbelievable crimes on humankind that ever happened in modern history.

An excursion to the "Gedenkstätte Buchenwald" shall sensitize for the suffering of the victims of the National Socialism and emphasizes the importance of peace and the understanding between peoples. There we will watch an educative movie and have an English guided tour of approximately 2 hours.

Please be on time, because we don't have time to wait. After the guided tour of the Gedenkstätte Buchenwald and the visit to the museum, there will be plenty of time for you to explore and experience the Gedenkstätte by yourself. At approximately 16:30 we will leave again for Dresden, where the bus will drop us of at around 19:00.

Please dress warm enough since most of the Gedenkstätte is outside and we are currently in the middle of winter.
