Just a bit east of Dresden is the national park Saxon Switzerland, which is famous for it’s beautiful landscape and sandstone rocks. Join us for a hike through this amazing area to wrap up the welcome week. On our way from Königstein to Bad Schandau you'll have the chance to enjoy fantastic views from the peaks of Gohrisch and Papststein, relax in beautiful nature, and make new friends along the way.

🚆 Train Suggestion:
Take the train S1 direction Bad Schandau at 08:59 from Dresden Hauptbahnhof, platform 13 to get to the meeting point in Königstein.

🥾 Hike Details:
- Distance around 12 km and approximately 450 m elevation.
- Difficulty: Doable for everyone in normal physical condition - but expect some stairs and uphill sections!
- The duration depends on the group motivation. We expect to be back in Dresden around 17:00.

- Water and lunch
- Shoes suitable for hiking and clothes appropriate to the weather
- Deutschlandticket (as a QR-code on your phone) + official ID for the train (or another valid transport ticket)
