You've probably heard of the magnificant Versailles.
It has been so popular, even back in time, that many other monarchs wanted to have their own Versailles - or at least something coming close to it!

Close to Heidenau there is the Versailles of Saxony, the Baroque Garden of Grosssedlitz. It's a beautiful garden with lots of sculptures, baroque castles and a great collection of citrus trees.
Despite it's beauty the garden is often forgotten or even unknown, so let's go there together and explore the history of the garden!

We will meet at 10:00 at the main station of Dresden and take a train to Heidenau together. Please take your student ID with you!
From there we will take a short hike up to Grosssedlitz where we will have a guided tour!
