🥾 Hike to Bad Urach Waterfalls & Castle Ruins

Join us for a scenic day hike through one of the most beautiful corners of the Swabian Alb! We’ll explore the Bad Urach Waterfalls and the nearby Hohenurach Castle ruins, enjoying a mix of forest trails, panoramic viewpoints, and historic sights.

• Date: Saturday, 8 November 2025
• Meeting Time: 7:30 AM at Stuttgart Hbf Long Distance Station (oben)
• Distance: ~12 km
• Estimated Duration: ~5 hours (including breaks)
• Return Time: Around 6:00 PM in Stuttgart

🎒 What to Bring

• Sturdy shoes with good grip (it may be muddy)
• Weather-appropriate clothing (layers, rain jacket)
• Water (at least 1–1.5 L)
• Packed lunch and snacks
• Deutschlandticket (for regional train travel)

🚶‍♀️ Important Notes

• The trail is of MODERATE DIFFICULTY, with some uphill sections.
• Trails are well-maintained but may be muddy and slippery at times.
• There are no food options along the trail, so please pack what you need for the day.
