🥾 Charity Run: Hike Up Rotenfels⛰

Ready or dare to conquer the steepest face between the Alps and Scandinavia. Look no further, The Rotenfels awaits you!As part of International Social Impact Days, join us on our hike to Rotenfels, and be part of this charity run for which we will donate a certain amount to Johanniter Kältehilfe whose mission is to support homeless people all around Germany and help them through the cold autumn and winte. 👣 Every kilometer counts 👟 towards making a positive impact! The money we raise will directly support the Johanniter in their work ❤️.
Make sure to record/track your steps and distance with the help of a step-counter/fitbit/app and send us a screenshot after the event saarbruecken@esn-germany.de for which we will donate a certain amount to Johanniter Kältehilfe.

ℹ️ Regarding Rotenfels?
Rotenfels is the highest and steepest cliff face between the Alps and Scandinavia 🌍, located in the Nahe Valley near Bad Münster am Stein.
It rises 200 meters above the Nahe River 🌊 and provides some of the best panoramic views of the region 🌄.
The cliff is composed of red sandstone, which gives it its name ("Rotenfels" = "Red Rock") 🪨.

🗺️ Event Details:
1- Meeting: Meet at Saarbrücken Hbf at 08:30
2- Departure: Depart to Bad Münster am Stein at 09:00 via DB
3- Hike Up : Arrive at Bad Münster am Stein around 11:00, and start the hike around 11:15 - 11:30. As the ascent begins! We’ll be trekking up Rotenfels’ steep face, with stops for rest and views.
4- Summit & Relaxation: We’ll reach the top! 🏅 Enjoy panoramic views over the Nahe River Valley 🌳 and Bad Münster am Stein 🏙. Snack, relax, and celebrate the view!
5- Descent : We’ll finish the hike and head back to the town.
6- Wrap-Up: Head back to Saarbrücken
