ESN invites you to join us for a cultural afternoon at the Moderne Galerie Saarbrücken, part of the Saarland Museum and one of the most important museums for modern and contemporary art in the region.
The Moderne Galerie presents artworks from the 19th century to the present day, featuring major movements such as Impressionism, Expressionism, the “Brücke” and “Blauer Reiter” groups, as well as modern and contemporary positions. Highlights of the permanent collection include works by artists like Max Liebermann, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and Franz Marc. The museum also offers a beautiful sculpture garden that connects art with the surrounding landscape.
During our visit, we will explore the permanent collection and the current exhibitions, which showcase exciting contemporary works and temporary displays that change regularly, offering fresh perspectives on modern art and society.
This is a great opportunity to experience art together, meet other international students, and discover one of Saarbrücken’s cultural highlights.
