Dear mountain-lovers and hiking cracks!

MESA is planning to do a really nice hiking trip with you! But first, please read the survival guide (https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1EIQzIorT7WTLmzyciHdKS25MZKXKVCAkME_9rMNUaM8/). On Sunday morning, we’ll take the train (RB55) from Munich Central Station (Platform 34) to Schliersee. From there, we’ll start our hike to the Neureuth (1250 m), our first stop with a beautiful view over Schliersee. We will continue over the Gindelalmschneid (1320 m) and end our tour in Tegernsee. If the weather allows, we will chill at the lake before we go home to Munich.

HIKE DETAILS
- Duration: ~ 4 hours
- Distance: 14 km
- Elevation gain: 600 m
- Difficulty: easy to moderate (reasonable fitness required)

If you want, you can buy your lunch or a drink at the Neureuth shelter. However, they only accept cash!

WHAT TO BRING?
- good shoes!!!! (at least appropriate trainers, or better hiking boots)
- a waterproof jacket (even if the weather forecast is good, the weather can change very fast in the mountains)
- sun cream
- a hat (if you have and need one)
- a small backpack
- 2 liters of water or other non-alcoholic drinks and snacks for a short food break
- a good mood and love for nature (please don't leave your trash in the mountains, carry it down by yourself)
- cash (in the mountains you cannot pay by card)

We will be back in Munich around 6 pm.
