Get ready for the most thrilling and festive day trip of the semester! On December 6th, the day of St. Nikolaus and his terrifying sidekick Krampus, we’re heading to the beautiful city of Salzburg!

Join us on our day trip to Salzburg. It is one of the most beautiful and oldest cities in Austria with a rich history and is known as the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
But be warned, while St. Nikolaus brings treats for the good, the Krampus is coming for the naughty! We’ve heard rumors that “the Erasmi get spanked” if they don’t bring their Christmas spirit! Ready to discover a festive city and face your fate?

🤔 WHAT DOES THE TRIP LOOK LIKE?
We will meet at platform 9 at Munich Central Station and take the train with the Deutschlandticket.
After arriving in Salzburg, we will do a city tour together, and afterward, you have some free time to explore beautiful Salzburg on your own. Check the telegram channel close to the trip date for a more detailed timeline.
Especially the impressive Festung Hohensalzburg (Fortress Hohensalzburg), the Castle of Mirabell and its garden, or the Museum of Modern Arts are worth a visit.
This time of the year, a visit to the famous Salzburger Christkindlmarkt is a MUST for Glühwein and Christmas snacks!

🎒 WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
ID/Passport (as we will cross the border)
Cash for food, drinks, and market goodies.

🤔 WHEN DO WE RETURN?
We plan to be back in Munich around 7:00 pm.

⚠️ A little rain cannot stop us, but if the weather forecast gets much worse we might have to cancel the event. Make sure to check our social media channels for updates on the trip!
