Dear internationals,

Let’s explore one of Bavaria’s most iconic places — Neuschwanstein Castle! Even LEGO released a set out of it, imagine! Surrounded by mountains, lakes, and winter scenery, this fairy-tale castle is even more breathtaking at this time of the year. Join us for a relaxed outdoor adventure in the Alps!

🤔 WHAT DOES THE EVENT LOOK LIKE?

We’ll meet at 9:30 am at Munich Hbf (platform 31) and take the train together to Füssen (approximately 2 hours). From there, we’ll do a very easy hike to the Neuschwanstein area (around 2.5 hours). The path may be icy, so hiking boots are highly recommended for safety.
Once we reach the castle area, you’ll have time to enjoy the beautiful viewpoints, take photos, and relax in the winter landscape.

Please note:
👉 We will not enter the castle. The interior is almost empty and not worth the visit for us.
👉 If you do want to go inside, you must book a ticket yourself in advance on the official website.

🤔WHEN DO WE RETURN?

We’ll head back to Füssen by bus or walking via a direct way (30min by walk) and return to Munich, arriving at around 8:20 pm.

Hiking boots (the path may be icy!)
Warm clothes & gloves
A picnic
Your Deutschlandticket or Bayern Ticket
ID or passport
