Dear internationals,
This event will be the least joyful event of your Erasmus experience, but at the same time, it will most likely be the most memorable one as well. We are visiting the memorial Dachau Concentration Camp (Gedenkstätte Konzentrationslager (KZ) Dachau), the first concentration camp of the Nazi regime. The tour will deliver a greater understanding of the history of this concentration camp as well as the gross violations of human rights that took place there. It is up to our generation to ensure that this tragic part of German and world history will never repeat itself. This tour will enrich your Erasmus experience significantly, so make sure to join us and be quick, as places are limited.

🤔 WHAT DOES THE TOUR LOOK LIKE?
We’ll meet at 11 am at the S-Bahn station Hackerbrücke. Then we will take the S-Bahn (S2) to Dachau Bahnhof, then we will take a bus (726) to the Concentration Camp. At the area of the Concentration Camp you will have some time to explore the museum in the beginning.
Afterwards we will have a guided tour in English for around 2 hours that starts at 2 pm and lasts until 4:00 pm.

You have to register and pay for this event in advance! You can pay only online at the above link.
We will sell the tickets on a first-come-first-serve basis to those who’ve registered and payed!
As we only have 30 spots, we’ll close the event after 30 people have payed.
Refund is not possible! However, if you can’t join us anymore you could look for someone to take your place and if you notify us in time (not the same day) we may help you with this.

🚂 TRANSPORT
If you bring your Deutschlandticket the transport is included (aka free). Otherwise, please check on http://mvg.de and buy a valid ticket.

🤔 WHEN DO WE RETURN?
You can take the first S-Hahn back and you will be back in the city center around 5:00 pm.
OR you can join us to do a walk through the small city of Dachau, going home a bit later.
