Come with us for an unforgettable Christmas weekend in the nearest big city to Berlin. The former German port city of Stettin (Polish: Szczecin) with over 400,000 inhabitants out of three quarters of a million people in the metropolitan region is the seventh largest city in Poland and one of the most important ports on the Baltic Sea. The city is also home to a large number of scientific institutions and universities, has numerous cultural monuments such as the castle and the old town and offers visitors an excessive nightlife.

Program:
On Saturday we will take the train to Szczecin shortly after 8:30 a.m. and arrive there around midday. After arriving and checking into the hotel, we will explore the city center, the old town, the castle, the harbor, the Christmas market and the center and end the day together in peace and quiet with a meal. After the first tour, still in daylight, there will be the opportunity to rest and relax in the hotel and then plunge into Szczecin's nightlife at an advanced hour. Since the hotel is very centrally located, almost all sights, clubs and bars can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. On Sunday after breakfast and check-out (at 12) there will be various options, depending on the weather:

• Christmas Market

• Climbing the tower (panorama view over Szczecin)

• Central Cemetery Park, third largest cemetery in Europe
• Bunker tour
• Museums
• Shopping etc. …On Sunday around 5 p.m. we take the bus and train back to Potsdam & Berlin.
