We would like to invite you to the biggest ESN party in the summer semester! Together with other ESN sections from Southwest Germany, more than 600 international students will be travelling to the Cannstatter Wasen for the Spring Festival.
Never heard of Spring Festival? -> Ever heard of Herbstfest (a.k.a. Oktoberfest)? Frühlingsfest is the spring version of the well-known Oktoberfest and the largest spring festival in Baden-Württemberg! There is a great selection of amusement rides, food stalls and, of course, beer tents (ESN will be at the Wasenwirt tent).

We will travel by train and arrive around lunchtime in Stuttgart to also check out the "Wasen" for its rides and food stands.

Please bring enough cash with you (min. 30€) as card payments are not accepted at the beer tents.

The ticket incudes the entrance to the beer tent.
You can only enter the tent with the bracelet received from us during the outward journey. (The first 600 ppl. will receive a free Maß (1L beer))

Cost? 9€ without ESNcard, 3€ with ESNcard (+16€ for a group train ticket if you need one)

Important travel note:
Because of constructions at the train line between Karlsruhe and Freiburg, it is closed in the evening/night, the last possible connection with a train leaves from Stuttgart Bad Canstatt (train station closest to the Festival) at 20:04. At 20:46 is another connection with rail replacement busses from Karlsruhe to Freiburg but this takes quite a while longer than the train.
However, some of the ESN organisers will stay longer and take a late night Flixbus from Karlsruhe to Freiburg. The ticket for this Flixbus is not included in this ticket.
Therefore, in the payment confirmation email of this event is a link to a Whatsapp group for all participants where you can ask question and discuss when you want to leave and get more details about the trip.

And don't forget some beer and snacks for the travel time :)
