🎡🍻 ESN goes Wasen – End of Welcome Month Special! 🍻🎡

It's that time again – spring is calling and ESN is going to Wasen together! 🇩🇪🥳

On Sunday, May 11, 2025, together with other ESN sections from Southwest Germany, more than 600 international students will be travelling to the Cannstatter Wasen for the Spring Festival. This Germany's traditional spring festival awaits you in Stuttgart – with beer tents, rides, dirndls & lederhosen, brass band music, and lots of good cheer!
We will travel by train and arrive around lunchtime in Stuttgart to also check out the "Wasen" for its rides and food stands.

Please bring enough cash with you (min. 30€) as card payments are not accepted at the beer tents.

Important travel note:
The travel to Stuttgart is not including in the price. If you do not possess a Deutschlandticket, we can get day train group tickets to lower down the travel cost (a WhatsApp group will be created for this event where you can ask any questions).
We will leave together from Stuttgart Bad Canstatt (train station closest to the Festival) at 20:41 to be back in Freiburg at 00:10.

And don't forget some beer and snacks for the travel time :)

💸 Price? 14 euros with ESNcard and 18 euros without ESNcard (includes 1 mass (1L of beer or radler) and 1 food ticket)

👉 Tip: The Wasen is super popular! We strongly recommend that you arrive on Saturday and explore the city with us (see our Stuttgart City Trip) – this way you'll arrive relaxed and on time, ensuring you have a full ESN weekend!

👗 Dress code? Traditional, please! Dirndl & Lederhosen add extra atmosphere – but of course, they're not a must.
