On Tuesday night, one of the most popular summer events in Freiburg takes place in the Sedanviertel (near the UB). Freiburg's alternative scene throws a huge self-organized street party here. The „Tanz in den Mai“ ("Dance into May") is a tradition that welcomes the arrival of spring. Thousands of people dance the night away to techno beats in the streets of the Sedanviertel (a district of Freiburg).

Beforehand, we meet at 7 pm in the Seepark on the large meadow and pre-drink together. Bring your own alcohol and snacks. After a few hours, around 10 pm, we'll go on together to the big street party and dance together with thousands of other people into the may!
