Canoe trip from Colmar to Sélestat
This year we want to provide a special adventure for you. We want to show you our neighboring region, the Alsace, from a really special perspective. We are going to use canoes to explore the countryside between Colmar and Sélestat. Especially for people who like to be in, at or on the water, this trip is perfect. The whole day we will explore the nature and small villages between Colmar and Sélestat on the river Ill.

When: Sunday, 1st of august, meeting point at Freiburg Hbf Platform 6 at 9:05

Price includes the canoe logistics (transport of boats, rental of lifejackets and water-proof barrels to safely store your personal belongings) and the full ticket expenses from Freiburg Hbf and back including the train-transfer from Sélestat to Colmar. Please don’t bring super big backpacks, they won’t fit in the barrel.


Things you SHOULD BRING!:

• Enough (drinkable) water -> There are no stores along the route which are opened on sunday.
• Sun protection! -> We will spend at least 5h on the water directly exposed to the sun. So please bring sun cream and in best case a sun hat or cap.
• Lunch Box -> Some food for enough power supply ;)
• Passport or ID -> We are in a different country (France)
• Mouth-nose cover for the train rides

Things you are recommended to bring:

• Swimming clothes, especially if you want to have a cooldown in the river ;)
• Some money for the dinner in Breisach.
• If you have: Waterproof camera
