ESN goes to the Wine Hike!

The 1st of May is a national holiday called Labor Day. As the name suggests, some people take to the streets to protest for better working conditions. Then there are others — like us — who hike through the local vineyards with the regional crowd and “taste” some local German wines ;)

Travel Plan:

🚆 Take a regional train from Frankfurt Hbf to Zwingenberg (~30 min, Deutschlandticket/Student tickets are valid)
🥾 Hike along the official festival trail to Bensheim
🔁 Return from Bensheim train Station the same way
(The event is open-ended, so you can stop or continue along the route and return from any station at your convenience.)

Bonus: In Bensheim, there’s also a street food festival on Beauner Platz with international specialties and live music!
