Hello internationals!
We hope that you are having a great time so far with your Erasmus experience!
As you know, your ESN team cares about you doing well, and in general ESN is having precise values to care about in its Agenda.From 20.11 to 03.12.2023 we are celebrating the social impact days inside of ESN, so we are planning some events to make a difference!
Here's how we came up with the idea of organising this evening together with you: It will be a chill time, to friendly talk about topics that are important in terms of inclusiveness, equality, respect and so on!
We will ask some questions, take some notes and consider the outcomes as inspirations for the code-of-conduct/survival-guide we are currently developing - for incoming Erasmus students like you, with all the tips on how to treat others, how to relate, and how to consider our differences in different cultural-ways of interacting, ways of joking, different habits, and so much more!
And because we don’t want this topic to get too dry or boring, we will also provide some snacks and you’re welcome to bring some beer or soft drinks! We want the vibe to be more like culture night or board game night and go out after the work part is done 🥳 We want to take you to Queertastic at cafe KOZ - this party is a safe space for people of all orientations - and of course you’re also welcome there if you’re not queer as long as you’re respectful and open to the queer community 🏳️🌈
(Please note that this party will not be an ESN-organized event, it’s just about going there together! :) )
We hope you will enjoy this moment of sharing thoughts and talking about how your Erasmus is going, if you had some difficulties, and so much more!
Erasmus is a wonderful time, but it may be a challenge as well: It is completely fine to have little troubles, feel free to speak about them and you will find that others have experienced the same!
