ESN Summer Camping June 16th – 18th, 2023

Hello hello Internationals,

You might have heard about the Welcome Camping from last semester (and if not, you can check the video of it here https://www.instagram.com/p/Cih0dT1uYur/) 😉

Today, we are super excited to share that we will organize another ESN Frankfurt CAMPING TRIP in June! 🏕

We will prepare plenty of fun activities outdoors like walk, olympics, and so much more so you can spend time in the nature, and bond with friends! 🤗 On Friday, we will go to a restaurant near the campsite (not included in the price).

Where do we go?
We will camp in Seecamping Mainflingen. https://camp-booking.de/mainflingen/
The campsite is offering a beautiful view over the lake, and invites to cool down especially in the summer time!
We will be staying in the Youth Camp, located in the area of an offshore peninsula on the lake area.
Meaning that you will not be sleeping in tents, but living containers with 8 beds each. Note: you’ll have to bring your own bed linen! (ESN has sleeping bags you can borrow!)
As a contribution to climate protection, the entire campsite is supplied with electricity from renewable energy sources.
A kiosk provides for the physical well-being. 2 supermarkets, drugstore, beverage market and bakeries can be found in the immediate vicinity.
There is also a large covered hall and an open fireplace with barbecue facilities.
The sanitary building with showers and WC is located in the immediate vicinity.

How much does it cost?
65€/59€ with ESNcard

What is included in the trip?
• 2 nights on the campground of Seecamping Mainflingen
• Food: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner on Saturday; Breakfast on Sunday. On Friday, we plan to go to a restaurant in the town (you pay individually).
• Drinks (Alcoholic beverages are not included!)
• Sleeping bags.

How do we go?
By Regio train, easily reachable in less than an hour!

When do we go?
Meeting point in Hauptbahnhof on Friday afternoon, 4.20pm

Return around 1pm on Sunday

What do you need to bring?
You have to bring your own cutlery and bed linen.
