It's the time of the year again when days are getting shorter and shorter and Christmas is just around the corner!
This means it also the season of the "Weihnachtsmärkte" (Christmas markets). There will be a big one in Frankfurt opening up soon, but we also want to show you some famous ones in other cities! 🎄🎅
A highlight will definitely be our daytrip to Strasbourg in France!🇫🇷 The beautiful Old Town is an UNESCO World heritage site! Also, it is an important city for the the EU, since it is seat of many European institutions. Each year in december, Strasbourg hosts one of the largest and most famous christmas markets in Europe. With around 2 millions visitors, it is called “Capital of Christmas“ in France!
It will be a great opportunity for you to visit a city in France during your exchange and get to know fellow Internationals, since we also want to meet up with other ESN sections that day! We will give you some tips on how you can explore the city, also we plan to give you some tasks and challenges to compete against the other ESN sections from the southwest who are coming on that day too ;-)

-Free Time to explore the city and Christmas Market in smaller groups ✨
