Have you ever heard of the Rhine Valley? Located just around 1 hour away from Frankfurt, this beautiful valley between Mainz and Cologne on Germany‘s largest river, the Rhine, features romantic little villages, medieval castles and great views of the landscape 😍🍇

We will start in Assmannshausen and take the chairlift up the mountain (tickets need to be purchased on location, you can either choose the take only the chairlift for 6.50€ or buy a combiticket to also include the cable car down to Rüdesheim for 12€)

After arriving at the mountain, we will hike around 1h tp the Niederwald monument, from which you´ll get a beautiful view of the Middle Rhine valley, a UNESCO world heritage site! 🏞 🌅

There you will also have the possibility to get a drink or snack at the panoramic restaurant, before going down to Rüdesheim (either hiking through the vineyards for around 3km or taking the cable car, see above) 🚡

We will take a train back from Rüdesheim and will probably be back in Frankfurt in the early evening.
