Hi everyone!

You came to Frankfurt expecting a fairytale German town like in the movies, but are yet to find something like this? To make this dream come true, we prepared a great daytrip for you!

Together, we want to go to Bingen, which is in the Middle Rhine Valley between Frankfurt and Cologne.

Nestled between castles on the banks of Germany´s most important river, it is a great place for hiking and exploring the beautiful German country side! 🏰

Together, we will take the RE2 train, departing at 19:08 from Frankfurt Hbf to Bingen (1h away). Please be at the station 15min before to secure seats!

This weekend the famous "Rhein in Flammen", literally Rhine in flames, festival will take place. Check https://www.rhein-in-flammen.com/ruedesheim-bingen/ruedesheim-bingen.html for more info! Several program points, live music, food, drinks and a huge firework are planned for this day! 🎇🎆

At some point in the evening, we will take the ferry over to the town of Rüdesheim, so you will have the chance to explore 2 cities in one trip! According to the website, the ferry costs 2.5€, please have the money ready for that!

With the exception of the ferry, this trip will be for free! Also there is no entry fee for the Rhine in Flames festival. We would recommend to bring some cash for food and drinks etc, though.
Important: You need a semester ticket or Deutschlandticket (if not, please buy your own train ticket)
