Join us this Sunday, the 6th of October, as we visit baroque Würzburg, the wine capital of Franconia.

The highlights include the Würzburg Residence palace, which is a UNESCO site, castle Marienberg and the old bridge.

Itinerary:
10:34: Train to Würzburg
12:21: Arrival in Würzburg
12:40: The Residence Palace.
13:50: Old University (Neubaukirche)
14:10: The Cathedral | Neumünster Church | Schönborn Chapel
14:25: Market Square and Mary's Chapel (Marienkapelle)
14:45 - 16:15: Lunch Break
16:15: Old Bridge
16:30: Scenic route up to the Marienberg fortress
18:37: Train back to Frankfurt

Würzburg is home to some of the best wine in the world and you'll have a chance to try it. We'll get four wines from the famed Bürgerspital and serve you 0,1 litre of each as we walk around the city. Please bring 8€ in cash if you'd like to opt-in. We'll provide you with plastic cups.

Note that lunch arrangements are not included in the itinerary. I suggest packing lunch with you as well as snacks that go well with wine.

Departure: 10:34 from platform 8, Frankfurt Central Station. Try to be there 10 to 15min earlier.
