Excursion: Rüdesheim & Assmannshausen
Join us on Sunday, the 20th of October, as we visit Rüdesheim and Assmannshausen.
Rüdesheim is mostly known for three things:
- the Drosselgasse – a very beautiful medieval street in its Old Town
- Rüdesheimer Kaffee – a unique blend of coffee with alcohol served in a special cup
- The Riesling white wine, which is their specialty
Up in the vineyards there's also a massive statue of Germania.
Because we want to see it, as well as the stunning views of the vineyards and the Rhine, this trip will involve more walking than a normal city tour. Please be prepared for that.
