Our next trip destination will be Michelstadt. Here is some information about the town:
A charming town of timber-framed houses and cobblestone streets, Michelstadt is a tourist favourite in the Odenwald (Oden Forest). People have lived in Michelstadt since the time of Charlemagne in the 9th century, and the town has one of the very few remaining churches from that period. In addition, this fairytale village has almost 100 original half-timbered houses and various other buildings from the late medieval and early renaissance period.

This is an ideal destination for a brief day-trip and we'll be back in Frankfurt before evening.

Feel free to bring your snacks and drinks for the train ride.

Michelstadt is inside the state of Hesse(Hessen). It is possible to go there by train with your student card.
