Sunday, the 12th of October, we're going on a beautiful hike from Bingen to Trechtingshausen, following one of Germany’s certified “premium hiking trails” known for their outstanding natural beauty, well-marked paths, and excellent maintenance.

This route promises scenic Rhine Valley views, historic castles, forests with tree spirits, traces of ancient Roman life, and an overall first-class hiking experience.

This is a moderately difficult hike that doesn't require anything above basic physical fitness, but it is long. The hiking part itself, without considering the breaks, takes around 4 hours.

Departure: 09:08 from platform 20, Frankfurt Central Station. Try to be there 10 to 15min earlier.
