Would you like to experience the famous industrial heritage of the Ruhr region? Then join our trip to the Duisburg Nord - Landscape Park.

The “Landschaftspark” is not a park like any other: Up until 1985, there was an active steel mill on the site. After the mill closed down, the buildings lay fallow for years before the site was redesigned in 1991. The old plant was not demolished, but just equipped with pedestrian paths and light installations in the necessary places. Today you can walk through old coal bunkers and past large factory halls and gas tanks and watch nature slowly reclaim the old industrial buildings on every corner. This concept makes the landscape park unique in the region - so it is definitely worth a visit.

The entrance to the park is free. Please bring your own food so we can enjoy a picnic together in the park.
Please note, that as it is an outside event, we may have to cancel it at short notice, if the wheater is really unpleasent.
