ESN goes Cologne Chocolate Museum
How does tasting chocolate feel, straight out of an actual chocolate river on the assembly line? Have you ever wondered how it is actually produced, today and in the past? How the cocoa plant and its beans actually look like in nature? Then join us for a one of a kind Wonky adventure at the Chocolate museum in Cologne!
The museum shows all the phases of making chocolate from beans to chocolate bars. The museum provides lots of information regarding the history of chocolate and chocolate culture. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to witness how artisan chocolate chefs work, all the while having the museum's the fabulous view of Cologne. You also have the option of ordering your own personalised chocolate bar.
After the museum, we will tour the Christmas Markets of the city, such as the Cologne Cathedral Christmas Market, one of Germany's top Christmas markets. Christmas markets have been a tradition in the German-speaking part of Europe for nearly 750 years.
Please bring your student ID cards with you.
We are looking forward to seeing you!
