On Sunday the 5th of December we will visit one of the most beautiful Christmas markets (and cities) there is: Strasbourg (yes, the one in France, is there another one? :D).
This is a bigger event, that means a bit more information for you. Corona and payment make it a bit more difficult, which makes us try to answer all possible questions with the event description, accordingly please read through the text!!!

Registration and Payment💸:
Registration will be open on Wednesday ( 24.11) at 12pm, this will give everyone the opportunity to get a ticket.

Tickets cost as follows:
17,5€ without ESNcard
13€ with ESNcard

This includes the trip to Strasbourg and back. Everyone can buy a maximum of two tickets at the same time
If possible pay by credit card or Giropay (bank transfer). If you can't do that, ask a friend to do it for you. These payment options help us a lot with the planning. If both payment options are not possible for you there is still the possibility of cash payment. We only accept cash payments during our following office hours: 24.11 and 01.12 and before the Stammtisch on 30.11. If you don't pay in time your tickets will expire and go to the next people in the waiting list.

Corona💉:
We are going together in a full bus, the Christmas market will be full too and France has stricter corona rules than Germany, so the event will be 2G+. This means only vaccinated and recovered people WITH a current official test not older than 24 hours can participate in the event. The test is also needed for the Christmas market, so don't get it earlier than Saturday afternoon.
Please get one with QR code or as a PDF, NOT as a piece of paper or photographed!
And don't forget your ID/passport!!!

The Event⏰:
We will meet at 8:30 am at Mercksplatz.
We will probably arrive in Strasbourg at 11:30am and plan to leave at 9:00pm, so we will be back in Darmstadt around 11:30pm.
During the day you will explore the city on your own, but there will be some activities at the beginning and at the end. To avoid that you spend the time in between haphazardly we will give you some general information and some suggestions. More updates will come later :)
We will also create a separate telegram group so we can exchange information as well!
