ESN goes to Herkules

Join us for a one-day tour to the iconic Herkules monument in Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe! This is your chance to explore one of Hessen’s most breathtaking landmarks, meet new people, and enjoy a fun day away from Darmstadt.

We will take the 10:30 train to Frankfurt HBF. From there we will take the 11:20 train to Kassel Wilhelmshöhe. The journey will take us through beautiful landscapes as we head north to the historic city of Kassel.

Once we arrive, we’ll visit the famous Herkules monument – a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning Baroque architecture, cascading waterfalls, and panoramic views over the city. You’ll have time to walk around the park, take photos, and enjoy the scenery with fellow students. We will also having our lunch there. We will begin our journey back to Darmstadt at 17:10.

This trip is a great opportunity to discover a cultural gem, spend quality time outdoors, and connect with your fellow students. Don’t miss out to explore the amazing Wilhelmshöhe Park and welcome Spring together – join us for a day to remember!

What do you need? Deutschland Ticket, lots of food and drink, comfortable shoes and an umbrella.
