City Registration
If you are planning on staying longer than three months in Germany you need to register at your local municipality of residence. To do this you have to visit your local registration office: in Darmstadt this is the 'Einwohnermeldeamt' (Luisenplatz 5, 64283 Darmstadt).
On Tuesday, 19.03, we are organising group appointments at the Residents' Registration Office in Darmstadt to assist students. If you want to come you have to sign up as we only have limited spots.
Please bring the following documents with you to the registration:
- Valid passport or an EU identity card
- Rental Agreement, also known as 'Wohnungsgeberbestätigung' (a housing contract will NOT be accepted)
Without this documents you can’t register.
What?: City Registration
Where?: Stadthaus Luisencenter, Luisenplatz 5 A, 64283 Darmstadt (entrance through the Luisencenter, take the escalator to the top floor)
When?: 19.03., 15:00 or 16:00
